NOF 9
So let's hear what folks have to say about NOF 9 ? I guess the web market
is leaning heavily towards user administered content management.
I for one would be very interested in seeing nPower working.

Re: NOF 9
Hi Juan
I will start the ball rolling. Its a big move forward, packed with new
features, components, and 75% of user feature requests taken care of in one
version.
The other 25% will come in part as updates and maybe by Fusion 10 we will
see a superior product to Dreamweaver ... for many it is superior now, but I
mean in all senses.
This tool will make it easy for designers to work with clients, and clients
to manage parts of their sites (with nPower) without ruining them.
Many positives.
Some in depth discussions, tutorials and guides over the coming days and
weeks at FusionUser and the other 3rd parties will give some more focus on
the new features.

Re: NOF 9
nPower is Fusion with a chain on it that the designer controls.
The client only gets to edit what you let them edit. Everything else, you
lock. You do this within Fusion 9.

Re: NOF 9
Is nPower a subscription or is it a one time charge to let clients manager
their sites?
Please advise -

Re: NOF 9
Does each client who is updating the web site need their own license to
nPower?
The free copy you get can that be transferred to another person or only used
by you?
Can you run nPower without installing NOF?
Do you need to install nPower as well as NOF to enable a client to use
nPower or just use NOF?

Re: NOF 9
Yes x 3
No...you don't need to install nPower. Just the client. But you should
install the freebie for yourself so you can see how it works.

Re: NOF 9
So if you install the freebie on your own machine then you need to buy one
license of nPower for each web site maintainer?

Re: NOF 9
That's my understanding. Each copy requires a license.
For a client who wants to self-update portions of their site without paying
you to do it, $60 is a small price to pay - once.
