Fly Out Submenus in NF12

Using NF12, I have a Navigation Bar into which I have successully designed in Fly Out Submenus. Two problems however. First, when previewing the site in IE9, the Fly Outs do not work - they do work in Chrome. Any fix for this? Second, in either browser, when you mouse over the nav button and the Fly Out happens, much of the fly out menu is obscured by the pop-up of the moused over navigation button with the button's name. I can't find anyway to disable this "Name" pop-up - is there a way to do so?

double click the button that is the placeholder for flyout

then on the property palette, untick alt tag and delete it

I am not sure why it won't work in IE9, what is your html output setting?

Thank you very much for the insight on the menu fly-out - that fixed the problem! I also found that the drop down menus do work in IE9 when yu publish the site (locally or on-line) but do not show up in the Preview. No idea why, but the work around is to do a local publish.
