Pop up window
I am trying to use a pop up window from a hot spot link on a new site I am
putting together, it works well on my tablet PC, with IE8 (Win 7), it also
works on my main computer IE 8 (Win XP), but not on my laptop on IE7 (win
XP) is this a setting issue within the browser can I set something in my web
site to address this? or do I explain this function is only available on IE8

I guess the obvious question is whether your IE7 is blocking the popup?
You probably need to add the site to your exclusions to the blocker.
This is something that would have to be done at the client (browser)
end, allowing the server end to unblock would make the blocker pretty
pointless when you think about it <g>

Re: Pop up window
Yeh I came to this conclusion once I thought it thru, if the users have
medium pop up blocker set everything is ok, but if they have it set to high
no chance!, having said this, lots of sites use pop up windows for payment
etc, users with the high setting will have difficulty using sites like
this, thanks for the reply
