I don't understand how this could help making NOF responsive. Tommy, Doris and others managed to produce responsive Websites with NOF. In my understanding it is a complete different technique. Koken is a CMS-system for photographers, as far as I understood, and it's the only USP.

Maybe it's just a business "on top", trying to reach as many people as possible for both products to enhance sales?

The Koken acquisition adds another product to our portfolio. Our development efforts are, and have been, focused on adapting NOF to produce responsive sites.

I wish and hope that some nice features of Koken will find their way into NOF. As a photographer I'm still missing firstly a modern gallery and lightbox system (eg. Masonry look and Fancybox) which is HTML based and can be implemented conveniently. Secondly there should be a Lightroom-to-NOF exporter similar to that one of Koken.

hi Barbara, you kindly helped me out on a NOF problem 12 months ago. I am unable to get my .nod file to open...8 days I have been working on it but without success.
The file crashed when I tested a Form Page, and now I cannot get the .nod to open.
I have had many crashes with 2015, but on every occasion the 'Unstable File' has 'Recovered"...but not this time...any tips would be appreciated.

Who knows? We can guess, though. Mine is that they are working hard to integrate responsive design into NoF and in the meantime are pushing token as their tool for creating responsive designs. There are already quite a number of these, but there is nothing like NoF for complete site design and management. This is what makes it so difficult to integrate responsive technology into it; it's also what will make it indispensable if it can be achieved soon. All other tools I've looked at require creating page by page. Nothing else has the masterborders concept that allows you to create common elements that flow across the entire site.

I am running a bunch of sites based on Koken CMS. The CMS works great for its purpose. But recently the sites stopped working - themes are not able to connect to Koken. Also I noticed that Koken support is down (Desk message: 'Sorry, We Couldn't Find That Page') and I can't log into the Koken store. I wonder if Koken is still maintained? If not then are there any solutions like making it opensource/free? What are the perspectives?

Anybody here ? i have the same problem with Koken, I need to change server, don't know if koken is compatible with PHP7.2 and realised support is down, twitter is silent since 2016... your blog is silent since 2015.... so what is happening ?No one is answering on twitter or emails... is NetObjects down too ? If you're closed you could at least tell about it... for the first time that I paid for a CMS theme and thought I found the perfect photo albums CMS... and not a year after it's down... too bad.... looks like I need to find another solution.... again...

I guess the word hasn't really gotten out after years, NOF and KOKEN, are dead. Both companies are dead. Nothing anybody can do will bring them back. Both products are so far behind newer technology, it would be easier to built new apps from scratch than further develop dead products. NOF holdouts that want more than NOF 15 can give, need to move on to other products. Nobody seems to know who continues this site or why this support site is still here. If there are some users who don't know how to use NOF by now, they are never going to know. And there is no more free stuff except the free updates to existing versions. Up grades are not free. Essentials is no longer available.

Seems like I am the last fool to upgrade to Fusion 15 in 2o21. This programs organization and promise made me think one day soon it would be a leader, I think I just seriously waisted my money with a 10th Generation 9 core it STILL takes 5 minutes to scroll screen, no interface with payment forums like paypal, no shopping carts, no support of any value, how can a program be so slow and lop-sided - I guess the brains behind fusion left in the 1980's.

Don't waist your money on this dead horse like I did.... I am sorry I picked it and waited for a Miraculous comeback= = If anybody has the code for the program I would like to see it, I think even a backward assembler programmer could fix whatever the issue that turns this tiger into a lame duck and fix it

You have other problems. NOF does not take 5 minutes to scroll anything. If it does, your installation is corrupted in some way. Fix it. All the other factors you mentioned have nothing in common with NOF NOF creates static web sites. What you seem to want are web applications. Interfacing sites and applications is not routine or easy and usually take custom programing by a professional programmer. People who need a lot of support usually are people with no computer skills. NOF is a very easy app to use and there is a very good wiki to help. But you need some general skills and knowledge and a lot of people don't have it.
