Hi all, I'm looking for an alternative to Surreal CMS. As of May 2012, they will began charging members for all CMS services. I'm still debating if I want to take that route or just make a CMS page...
Another way to do it is use a javascript based program. Jquery is a prime example where you can have multiple videos on one page, but the users can click on the bar that will open up that section....
It's called an ico file. There are websites where you can google and they will take you through the steps. You have to make your logo first. Photoshop etc. and upload it. Or you can add the code into...
That's what I'd figured. I just didn't know how to approach this because it's different from when I do other database driven websites where I add contact forms as well as guestbook forms using the...
Thanks. I was wondering if that was possible. I was making a contact page and adding the submit button, person's name by using the forms edit field and multi-lines but wasn't for sure how to add a...
smh. No Administration reply?
Is it possible to use these tools with a php mysql database? Example, I want to make a contact page where I want the data to sit on a database.
If I were kidding, I wouldn't have replied. There are plenty of questions that are reasonable questions that go unanswered.
NOF forums are not the best when it comes to replies. There are only a few people that do reply and some of them will bypass your post. To bad that the administrators don't reply a lot more. Smh....

When I use the plug-in tool to add a mp.3 song to the body of the page, it sends it to the left hand top corner of the page. What am I doing wrong here? Is there something missing? The song is there...
I want to make a couple of rollover functions on the same page. One will be a text roll over navigation that will sit beneath the banner and the other is a roll over logo that will sit on the...
Yes. It's pretty much like Cushy CMS. I guess I was looking at the headache that some don't want to be bothered with by migrating away from their website in order to modify the content. But I wasn't...
Wouldn't it be best to add a wysiwig editor instead to the code, make an admin button or link where the user can log in on his website and edit the content per page vs logging in to another website...
I hear you. It's more targeted to those that have time and are willing to do this. NOF should come out with something like that.
Ray? If it's not your forte, then it's kind of fruitless posting the cup is half empty concept. I posted this because there are people that do, do this for free, post them Youtube, have their own...
I was sitting here thinking about how some of the tools in NOF beyond the basic is an enigma. Thanks to Gotfusion for his links to answer those enigmas. I'd be all over the place trying to figure out...

that or just add the code in the text editor box. it's made to add php etc. i use both options.
I think another option is to paste/type the php code in your text html. Text code allows adding php within the html box, so you should be able to do this. Especially seeing that the the plugin is a...
Check and see if you have any errors on your drive. I don't have to use admin to run the plugin. It works fine without doing that for me using Windows 7.
Cache. Sometimes your browser will keep the older history instead of the later. You need to clear the cache and sometimes the history per browser.
I'm going to use that quote. lol.
This quote got me thinking yesterday and today reading this forum and another forum that is related to something different. I'm wondering if a lot of the issues is hardware related? I purchased a...
