Default Help importing files into NetObjects (moved from 11)

I have a website through Netfirms. When I signed up w/ them years ago I received NetObjects 8 from them to create, edit and publish my website. Everything was fine until my computer crashed recently and I had to replace my computer. I contacted Netfirms on how to replace all of my information. they walked me through retrieving my files for the site and even downloading NetObjects Fusion Essentials. I did that, but now I am stuck.

I need to know how I upload/open my website with this new NetObjects so that I can edit it and publish it just like I was able to with NetObjects 8.

If someone could please help me I would greatly appreciate it.

    Thanks!

    Hello,

for start, NOF Essentials is not NOF11. NOF Essentials is identical with NOF 7,5.
So in that way it´s not compatible with any files from NOF8.

But it looks like you´ve lost all your files.
If you didn´t make any decent backups of your project, I mean templates, it will be very difficult to restore your project.

Have a look at some links from gotFusion explaining more details:

    Mia,

Thank you for clarifying that. I was afraid that was the answer that I was going to get. Ughhh!!! Well I guess I can look at it as a chance to clean up the site.

    Thanks for your help!

    Good luck!

And after you restored your site, don't forget to make templates of your project, and store them externally, CD, USB or in a special folder on your server.
Just to be on the safe side....
