    Default Simple password page protection

I would like a simple way to password protect a page. I do not need the Secure component. I would just like to be prompted for a password to open a page. Any suggestions?

    Hi SCP,

Generally you will have some options in your hosting control panel that will work similar to this. You would specify a secure directory > apply a password to this directory > any file or page located in this directory will require the password to access. You can move files and pages in Fusion from the Publish view or even have a separate site that is to be published in your secure directory. Your host should have further information if this option is available.
