Default How to center web pages?

Hi, I'm trying to help a friend out that is trying to build a website using NetObjects 10. We are trying to get the web pages to automatically center within the browser when the page opens.

When we select HTML output to SITE, Dynamic or Regular table and select center, the page allows offsets by about three inches to the right of center. It seems to happen regardless of what we try. We even set up a brand new page and centered it, published it and it does the same thing.

Any ideas of what we can do to change this undesirable behavior?

    Thank you

    Use EZRound!

It correctly centers pages in all browsers and makes it simple to add a
border to the entire web page (even with rounded corners, drop shadows,
    etc.).

You can see the effect in NOF at:

    http://www.ezround.com/centered

There is also a free trial version of the program at:
    http://www.ezround.com

Download a free trial and give it a spin!

    :-)

    Good luck on your projects!

We have tried the <div align="center" command and it is showing up in the source code for the web page but the page still isn't centering. This is the URL to the test site. Perhaps being able to see the source code will help in isolating the core problem.

You're using fixed layout. Which you cannot center.

"Fixed" means locked to the top left corner of the browser window.

Switch to Dynamic Layout and use the center the page checkbox in the page Layout properties and it will center just fine.

Just an FYI to anyone who needs to center many pages with several Master Borders, this is the way to go. Otherwise, using the NO method of checking the "Center in Browser" box for each page is a real pain! Too bad there isn't an overall site setting for Centering all pages (if there is, I'd love to know!).

there are 2 thinks that you have to do in order to get it centered in the browser.
    1) Make sure that the page (or site settings) are not set to fixed page layout.
    2) Follow the instroctions over here.

    p.s. i'm using 7.5
