From your control panel uninstall Fusion.
    Reboot
Install Fusion (DO NOT run it from the installer prompt)
Go through all updates to the current one
Set Fusion.exe to run with admin privileges: http://www.gotfusion.com/tutorials/tut.cfm?itemID=4037

Hi Thankyou for your reply, excuse me for sounding thick, I have the Net 10 downloaded in a folder and I use the setup command to instal it, when you say don't run it from the installer prompt what exactly does that mean. Since I 've gone back to ie 8 from the beta 9 ,I get a diferent error message at the start of Net10 which is:-
    Line 38
    Char 5
    Error Access is denied
    Code 0
    URL http://netobjects.com/en/nof/10/00/ov/rss/xmlextras2.js
    Do you want continue .......
I also notice the Java 1.4 and not 1.6 can I updrade this?

When the older products (anything before version 11) install, at the finish of the install process you get a dialog box that asks if you "Would you like to launch the application now?" answer NO.

You can take a look at this explanation of how to install Fusion Essentials. http://www.gotfusion.com/tutorials/tut.cfm?itemID=4036 Ignore the "go get your serial #" part. The rest is pertinent to all versions of the product when installing (except version 11 which does not ask you if you want to launch the product).

Now if you are using a very old version of windows (XP and earlier) none of this matters as older versions of windows do not have the security features of the newer ones.

You can with version 11. Not from the older products

Hi Thanks for the help, this part seems to be working now, the latest problem is that the flash gallery is causing problems when I try to change the album background colour. What I am going to do is replace my hardive and reload win 7 from scratch. My problems seem to start when I reinstaled win 7 over my exsiting one. I need a bigger hard drive so this is the chance to upgrade. Hope this works!!!
    Regards Richard
