Installing nof11 on Windows 7 for, any pointers?

I'm trying to move from my vista setup to my new laptop that runs windows 7.


So far here is what I have:

1. The .nod files aren't even visible when I try to 'open site' from nof11 in my fresh windows7 install.

It seems like they were visible before, but it was giving me an error box and saying site is 'already open'

You have to import your projects into your new laptop by creating templates.
How to do this you can read here in this thread, gotfusion's answer.....

Thank you very much for the links, it's all coming back to me now. Template, template...TEMPLATE! Following got fushion's tutorials now.

So far all I am getting is "This file was created by a later version of NOF, please upgrade now"


Pretty much no matter what I try. Any ideas?

Make sure you manually download the NOF11 update, don't rely on the software telling you it's the latest version. It should be Version 11.00.0000.5012 (go into HELP>ABOUT NOF)

If it doesn't say that, download and install http://downloads.netobjects.com/upda...11_Update1.exe

Interesting... myu NoF v 11 install show version 5016. Must have been a further update since 5012!

5016 was a Beta test version...best not to mention that
