Thread: formm@iler problem

    Default formm@iler problem

Years ago in some old sites I used db masters formmailer script and it worked great. I had to build a new site so I employed the newest version of formmailer to it. However, none of the 3 forms on my site work. I'm not a coder, and I've been out of building sites for awhile so it wouldn't shock me to have missed something fundamental. I did follow the tutorial as well as Dan Ball's instructions. Nevertheless, it's not working. The pages are located at:
    http://themidwestgrp.com/html/contact_us.html
    http://themidwestgrp.com/html/sell_your_business.html
    http://themidwestgrp.com/html/buy_a_business.html

In the order of the above, the hidden config field is set to 0,1,2

I have the script in the html folder on the site (where those pages are) and the forms are all built in tables and point to formmailer.php

Any suggestions would be great. If anyone cares to take a look I can post the configured part of the formmailer script. Thanks.

I just tested the form on the first linked page and by all appearances, it worked and sent me to the Thank You page. Did you fix it?

Yes! It was something stupid, but worth noting for the future. The script likes all the submit buttons to have the id, name, and type "submit". Since I had multiple forms I used mulitple id's (i.e. sellersubmit, buyersubmit, contactsubmit). Once I changed all the field names to "submit" the forms all worked fine.

    Thanks for checking.
