    Default best audio format

    I want to make available audio instructions for safely operating a poolside umbrella. I would prefer to stream the content rather than go the file download route. However, if I can't find an opensource php streaming application, what is the best format for a file download - mp3 or other?

    MP3 is usually best as it can be compressed to your choice of bitrate, a bit like the JPG of the audio world.
