Anyone know a cure for this huge amount of empty space at the bottom of the

Drag the Bottom Masterborder ruler up to the bottom of your text and or remove and paragraph "enters" in your text. To see if any are there, go into the Text menu and select Show Text Invisibles.
Already did those 2 things.
There are no Paragraphs there and the dragging up didn't work either.
Wow I wish I had a copy of NOF 1.0! It sure did work better!

You definitely have a layout area that extends past your text. You need to grab the "handle" on the base of that layout area and drag it up. I've just looked at your page code.
I told you I already did that.
What I am seeing is not what I am getting on publish.

I have experienced a similar problem in the past. I could also see that
the code on the published page was different to the code in NOF's code
preview window. NOF was evidently getting confused when the publish
button was pressed and miscalculating the alignment of the objects on
the page.
With luck, one of the following work-arounds should stop this happening:
1) Change the 'HTML output' for tables from 'Columns' to 'Rows' in the
Layout Properties dialog (right click and select Layout Properties to
bring up this dialog)
2) It looks as though the layout region (I presume that's what it is)
enclosing your text menu and the '* Cruz Bay St. John US Virgin Islands'
text at the bottom of the page may be a little wider than the text box
that contains the main page content - this may be confusing NOF.
Reducing its width so that it is no bigger might work. Alternatively
remove the layout region, and add the text menu and the '* Cruz Bay St.
John US Virgin Islands' text directly into the bottom border (which
would also meet the aim of preventing anything in the footer from
extending wider than the main page text box.
3) Insert a thin empty layout region right across the width of the
entire page in the bottom border, above any other content in the footer,
to make it clear to NOF where the break should go.
4) Insert a thin empty layout region right down the page from the
underside of the top border to the top edge of the bottom border.
Following a completely different train of thought, it looks from the
preview that you posted that you may be changing the font styles on the
page; if so, it is preferable not to do this. Instead, change the text
styles in the 'styles' view and use these. Probably better in this case
to cut all the existing text, paste it into Notepad, then repaste it
into NOF and then set the styles.
Hope something here works for you.
