have layout region print
Hi,
I inserted a layout region on a page and used a home-made calendar as
background. But...when I print the page, the background doesn't print.
How do I make it so it does print (without the user having to change
settings on their computer)?
Thanks,
Tom

Simply, you can't...you need to make the calendar a picture so it's an object instead of a background so that it prints. People can choose whether to print page backgrounds, but you aren't in control of that and can't control that as such.

Re: have layout region print
Hi Andrew,
Thanks very much. I was really hoping I could make it print as a background
because there will be times when I insert a text box over a certain day on
calendar....Aw rats....
Thanks again!!

You could potentially add a Layout Region and change the HTML Output in the Layout Region Properties to be "Fixed Layout" so you can overlay objects on top of each other just in that area. Haven't tested this, but something you can experiment with.
