Assets
I have a question on how Assets are supposed to work. I am adding a 3rd
party Javascript graphing package and it requires some files to go down with
the site. I can manually move them and all is fine. But according to the
info on how assets are supposed to work if I select "Always Publish File" I
should see the files show up when I publish the entire site. And I would
also expect that they publish for preview as well but they do not either.
They verify ok in the Assets directory. If I reference the javascript by
inserting it into the "Scripts File Importing Order" property sheet it gets
referenced and moved correctly. The problem is that I have about 5 other
files that also need to go that should not be imported into the main
document but need to be published.
Am I missing something?

Re: Assets
Got some answers from NOF Support which was very helpful!
Specific assets for a NOF site are placed where NOF needs them, for example
..css might go into the HTML directory but not in the ASSETS directory where
a specific javascript library might need them. So for anything that is used
directly by NOF your OK, but if you want to use something that has specific
path to be included internally (Like the Javascript lib I was using) you
must move them all manually.
Would be great if you could have the Asset manager really manage to a
directory for specific files, new feature I guess...

Re: Assets
Use Publish View to create new directories and move files and assets around.
