There is no need to register the product in order to use it. All you need is a valid copy and a valid SN........ that's it.

The Fusion product was owned by a different company when Fusion 8 was a current product so I don't think any of those links will work for you.

You will want to set fusion.exe to run with admin privileges though (see this page for details): http://www.gotfusion.com/tutorials/tut.cfm?itemID=4037

You may need to run in xp compatibility mode but give it a shot running in Vista first

    Dear Mike,
Then this is not a question related with Windows Vista Firewal, ie, I will be able to publish the web without any problem, not?
    Best regards,

As long as your software installed with the SN you have given it, everything should function without issues

    Except for.....

Maybe having to set the program to run in xp compatible mode because of the age of the software. Fusion 8 was released back in 2004...

Before you dive into a live site project you should create a simple example set of pages and run through all aspects of the program (including uploading). Fusion 8 is VERY old and your OS is much newer. Just like some older hardware will not work with Vista, some older software may have issues also.

If you can local publish you can always use a 3rd party FTP program like FileZilla (opensource/free) to do your uploading with http://filezilla-project.org/
