GIF Transparency Problem with AutoGen

The auto generation function used with style sheets has a problem with GIF files that include a transparent area. The file created by autogen has the transparent area/s replaced with black color.

Problem first observed with Fusion 11 style imported into Fusion 12.

Chuck can you point me to where this is discussed.

I have a couple of hobby sites. Both worked fine in NOF11. I've transitioned to NOF12. I've done this multiple times over the years.
The SOP is making a Template of the entire site of the NOF11 site and then creating a new site in NOF12 from that NOF11 Template.

Here are two examples:
http://www.emmanuel.org.hk/ <- I have only updated the home page and you can see the how the transparent theme files are now all black
http://www.decimus.com/current/html/2010_oct.html <- I updated the Oct, Nov and Dec 2010 pages. The slide surrounds to the images now have black shadow where it should be a grey transition.

Will there be a bug fix coming soon or do I need to revert to NOF11 and ditch NOF12 until there is a work-around.

Hi Peter,

This issue will be fixed in AU1. AU1 will be released as soon as we can have it ready for the wild.

Thanks Adam - I'll revert back to NOF11 and await the AU1 update. Glad to hear you have a handle on the issue.

That is unfortunately one of the problems of being an early adopter.

What is great is that NOF12 now works with Win7 - 64 bit.

The other thing I noticed is that the picture gallery seems more stable. I have noticed that there are still some bugs that have transitioned from previous versions - like when you come back to the layout version where the gallery is - the right hand margin seems to blow out and needs to be brought back to your original template size.
