Default Is the shopping cart tool the same

My question is a simple one. The shopping cart tool built into NOF XII, is it the same as it was in NOF11? Have there been any changes/upgrades to this tool? I looked for answers to this but couldn't find any.

I would like to integrate my own shopping cart without 3rd party software, but the NOF11 shopping cart was a joke IMHO.

Any help on this will be greatly appreciated.

Te ecommerce component in 12 functions exactly like the version 11 one. I cannot comment whether there were any internal changes made to the component but on the outside where the user interfaces with it, it is unchanged.

Have you looked at this tutorial on how to "roll your own" store?

you can integrate a separate cart such as zencart or cubecart into Fusion by linking to the store pages with an external link in your menu structure.

There are some backend changes to better support PayPal, but the features are consistent with Fusion 11. Integration with 3rd party providers is great option for those looking for extended functionality. Using the Form and Insert HTML/Code tools in Fusion you can achieve a seamless integration with most any provider.

    Mike,

Can you answer whether or not the high CPU usage (99%) when trying to carry out any operation on a page containing an e-comm catalog has been resolved with NOF 12.
