Default How can I create my own site from scratch? Seriously

Hi there everyone. First time user of NetObjects.

I have created my website homepage & subpage templates in dreamweaver, all custom made. Now I want to import them into NetObjects to build out the rest of the site.

There does not seem to be an option to start a site from scratch this way? If there is, where do I find it.
When i try to create a blank site it defaults to this ugly blue table-based side. I have coded our site in valid xhtml/css/js.

    Please help?

DW is an HTML editor (for the most part).

    Fusion is a code generator.

You use design view to place your design elements (text, graphics, etc) and Fusion generaters the code for you.

XHTML output is one option. It's not the default, but it's very simple to change the setting per site.

When you create a new blank site, it uses a default style. You can go to Style View and modifty that style or make a new and totally blank style if you wish. Then use Style View to do your master CSS settings.

Your graphics, you should add directly to the index page in design view. Once you have this page laid out, you can copy it in Site View to make new pages before you add content.

For content that's along the sides of your pages, you can utilize Fusion Master Borders. Contnet placed in a Master Border applies to all pages using that MB. Change it on one, it changes on all.

Page specific content goes in the page Layout area.

You can run through the New Site Wizard which is a painless way to get a lot of pages pre-made for you or you can read over this if you want to dig deeper into how the program can be used: http://www.gotfusion.com/tutorials/tut.cfm?itemID=4069

Regardless of which method you choose to use, I would recommend that you create at least 4-6 "test" web sites before you start a serious one. It is always best to get the feel for a piece of software before you rely on it completely

Both of you seem like NetObjects experts. I am really struggling with this program!
If either of you are interested in completing this small job for me (convert my homepage and subpage template to netobject format) I would be forever grateful.
I am more than happy to pay for your time, just send me a PM with your email address and I can send you the zip containing my homepage and subpage html/css/js/image files.
It is probably a 15 minute job for experts like you guys, but for me, its been 2.5 hrs already and I have zero to show for it.
Would really appreciate it if you were interested let me know.
    Thanks

The problem most new users who come from more complex software have with Fusion is that they want to make it more difficult than it needs to be.

Fusion is a very easy program to use. It automates just about everything for you. You should be able to operate the program with your eyes closed and boxing gloves on

I am sure some one will contact you but in the mean time play around with the program using "test" sites.
