Will unstable older version sites copy errors into v.12?

An old site from v. 8, copied and used in both v. 10 & 11 is unstable at times - will crash for ? reasons (just crashed when I tried to export copy as template).

If I copied and pasted content (redesigning site graphics) into v. 12, will any errors be copied into 12? Pasting as plain text since I can't export as template.

Version 8 was a totally different beast from the newer products....

copy/paste plain text into a site started in 12 is the safest way to move on something that old.

You can set the paste default to plain text instead of right clicking and selecting unformatted each paste opperation.... http://www.gotfusion.com/tutorials/tut.cfm?itemID=4067
