Contact Managment script

Wondering if anyone has any suggestions for a Contact Management script for a website I'm going to be doing. It'll be for members of the organization to access contact info, and will be used for fund-raising and marketing (It's a non-profit). They will likely want the ability to add notes, eg. which events have they supported in the past, etc.

I've started Googling, and, as usual, there's a million out there. Hoping I can get a personal recommendation from experience...

I'm looking for a CONTACT manager, not content. For storing Name, address, phone number, favorite hair care product, etc. with secure login for access.

They want to be able to have volunteers able to access it from the web site for making calls and doing mailouts.

Hey, what's a little semantical misunderstanding between friends

What is being used for your web email interface. If you have smartermail all of this is available as part of that mailserver package (it can be shared around between all users on the same domain easily too).

Sugar CRM is free and very complex. May do waht you want but how you
would skin it like your NOF site????????????
