Mark,

In the current business environment five years is a long time for any
business these days. With the change in ownership recently of Netobjects
I'm sure the desire and the enthusiasm is there to carry the company forward
for five years but will they have the finances and the customer base to do
so, only time will tell.

I'm very satisfied with the current version of the product and feel good
about what the new ownership is saying about their plans for the future.
They're also listening very closely to those that use the product and that
bodes well for the future also. I'm planning on using Fusion for many
years. Even if they were to succumb to an early demise the product can
still be used to produce clean and effective sites going forward.

Take a look at some of the creative sites the folks on the forums have put
together with Fusion. Fusion allows you to quickly put together a clean and
efficient site with enough hooks to add all kinds of scripts and 3rd party
solutions to do most anything you would need to create a great static
website. I'm sure Dreamweaver is a great product but I'm not getting
caught up in the hype that it's the only tool one should be using to create
sites these days.

My $0.02

the Other Chuck
