    Default guestbook problems

    Hi -
I'm having problems getting the guestbook in NOF 10 to work correctly. I'm
    having a few problems:
    1. The add a comment form shows up on our site, but the entries in the book
    itself don't show up
    2. If a new comment is made, I am unable to validate it from the admin
site - When I try (and click the validate (or any other) button), it just
jumps back to the login page for the admin site.
    3. I can't get the captcha graphic to show up on the page, only the place
holder graphic and the text box for typing in the letters in the graphic
    doesn't accept anything.

Any help at all would be appreciated.

    Thank you very much

    Hello Linda,
I know this is an old post........but did you ever figure out how to solve these problems you are having. I am having the identical problems. I know all the problems with the NOF guestbook and I probably would not even use it but it does bother me that this is something I can not solve.

    Just wondering.

I am having this exact problem. Also with the News Component. The admin page with both of them. Whenever I try to do anything - validate a comment or add a news article - it jumps back to the login. Did anyone every find out what the problem is? I am going CRAZY trying to figure this out!!!

    sgolard,
I did resolve my issue. I had to edit the php.ini file on the host server. You can also follow this thread http://forums.netobjects.com/showthr...ghlight=Dove-7 where another member had a similiar problem. His was an extreme case where he had to move to another hosting company. Talk with your hosting co. They should be able to work this out for you.
