    Default How to set up a table's background and text style

    I'd like to set up custom table styles that can be edited later to update all my tables at once. The actual number of columns and rows will vary but some tables will have many rows. Is there a way to define the background color and text color for an entire table without having to specify it for each cell individually? Yes, I've read the help and it's very confusing. I've experimented with both the Style view and the Page view style tab and it seems like I have to specify each cell individually.

    Hi Frank,

    create a custom style as shown previously, open the table properties pallette, press HTML, insert the following code bit inside the tag:

    class="mycustomstyle".

    Changes will only show in preview.
