Thread: NOF 12, Windows 7 64-bit, and Java 64-bit ??

  1. #1

    Default NOF 12, Windows 7 64-bit, and Java 64-bit ??

I have the installation as described in the Title of this post. NOF 12 does not see that I have the 64-bit of Java 6 installed on my machine. Of course all other apps that need Java find it and use it just fine.

I even tried renaming the JRE folder in NetObjects System to JRE.bak and copying the later version of Java to the same location. Nope. Still doesn't see it.

How can I get NOF 12 to see that I have it and use it?

If I install the 32-bit version of Java on my machine, then won't that be the one that my entire machine uses making the 64-bit version superfluous?

I don't think you understand what I'm saying.

If you install the 64-bit version of Java and go to the "Application Options" dialog, the JRE for 1.6 does not even show up in the combo box. The only way to get it to show up is to install the 32-bit version of Java.

You must use the 32 bit Java version. Fusion is a 32 bit program.
