Link Colors In NetObjects 12

Hello NetObjects Forum,

I contacted NetObjects via Email and had them help me with changing a link color. They said to go into the Site Style area to do this. I only wanted one particular link to be a different color, but I don't know what I'm doing and changed all the link colors on all my pages! I can't get the default link colors back now. I would like the default blue links with the grape colored purple you usually see when you've visited the link. Am I making any sense?

Hello Mars

You can click on each one of the 4 link states and delete the css code in the code editor palette. This means that the default browser setting will be used as no colors will be specified for the web site



If you want to change the look of only one link (or a group of links but NOT all), you need to create link pseudo classes for each of the 4 states and apply the pseudo class to each of the links you wish to have different

That doesn't sound good. I want colors for my web page, because it is a Template I'm working from. It might ruin the whole template. Thanks for trying, but I do think I will be happy with what I've got.

Why? Can't you change them back to old looks in style view? Shouldn't be a problem, pls try again... Possiby if you don't get results save site, close the programm and open it again.

I think you misunderstood. By removing any site dominant color/decoration for links, the default browser setting will be used. The default browser setting is the blue and purple you asked about. Most styles do NOT have any decoration so the default browser decoration (color, underlines, etc) are used.

Here are the default browser css settings (as installed).... Understand that any user can customize/change any of the default settings so these only pertain to a stock browser install
