major data loss, freeze up, publishing error's... I need help

will load backups, but still have issue.... plz see screen shot.... will not load images of anything from anywhere. regardless of image type, size, path, or anything else... and will not tell me the problem.

From your screenshot it looks to me like you have opened the backup from the backup folder. Go over the tutorial again and make sure that you place the backup file in the proper location for it to function before you open it.
