    Default Languages translation

I have created a nice looking webpage, in Danish, using Netobject fusion 11. Now I gotta translate it into several different languages, English, Swedish, Norwegian, and German. In the topbanner I want to place national flags. Clicking on one of them all the texts should change to the selected language. Any easy way to perform this translation, as all the rest is not changed?

    Ps.

Yes, use a database to serve the appropriate language pages. You can even have the correct pages served to the majority of your users by using the "locale=" command.

I do this by using 4D Site Designer alongside NoF generated pages. It is also how I serve foreign currency choices in shopping sites.

Get it at www.softidiom.com. A bit of a learning curve to get the max out of it, but basic bits like you are asking can be done quite rapidly.

    Cheers

    Hi Bue,
Another alternative is to use an automated translation service such as http://translate.google.com/translate_tools This is a quick and easy way to offer your site visitors a variety of language preferences.

If you later choose to manually translate the site yourself, then could use a DataBase as David mentioned. NetObjects Fusion 11 has database capabilities built right-in, without the need to purchasing another 3rd party application. The database tools in Fusion can be accessed via Page view > View > More Panels > Data Sources

You could set up separate pages, menus and master borders for each
language, put flags on each page (rather than in the master border) and
use them as regular links to the corresponding articles in the other
    languages.

Wikipedia works in a similar way, if you want an example.
