Default My wife needs help after 4 weeks of frustration

Hi, my wife has built many successful web sites for me with Net objects, but my recent request to her for a capture page has stumped her for weeks, even having asked for help from Not Objects, she just can't get this to work.

She need to place a form on the contact page with various fields, Name, email, phone etc. this is not a problem to her. What she is having problems with is collecting this information.

What she needs to know is: when someone views the web page and fills in the form and clicks submit, How can she have that information sent to her email address or somewhere on the site where she can harvest it? Could someone please explain, after the form is created and published how she collects this information.

    Thank you,

    David.

    1) Use the formshandler component

    2) Use the forms tools and set the action to the php form handler

    3) Use the forms tools and a 3rd party processing script set as the form action

    4) Use a 3rd party forms processing site

    David,

Easy..... [a] the form data gets emailed to her AND [b] have the data written to a .csv file on your server.

Wouldn't it be great if there was only a single browser to worry about!!!

Do I need to have a Paid subscription to gotFusion to acess the tutorials?

I was looking at Option #2, but cannot get past the first page of the tutorial - need to see how to set up the PHP Form Processing Script. Unfortunately, gotFusion won't even let me subscribe.

    Can you please help???

    Thanks
