Default Essentials does not use css from exsisting site.

I recently had a system crash, and do not have to .nod files I used to crate the site. I was able to download the files from the existing web site, but the formatting is gone. I get system errors saying the Essential versions are not the same. How do I add my site and style info into the files I have?

I have a backup file, but it tells me the version of Essentials version is not the same. I want to buy this product but can't commit until I know that I will not have problems with the execution.
