    Default Bug Report #2. - Image button causes site to publish incorrectly.

    When I place an image button on a page and subsequently publish the page, that page is rendered incorrectly such that it contains references to preview elements instead of published elements.

    This causes the site to display incorrectly, and sometimes create PHP script errors (for instance include file not found).

    To generate this error consistently, I had set up a database display page (php), then added a button outside the layout region. If I set the type to "button", set the label to "next", and assign the action to database/next pointing at the layout region, the site is published correctly.

    If I then change the type to "image", and set the image file to a file in assets directory (e.g., "next.gif"), and then publish the page, the site is rendered with elements referencing preview locations.
    e.g., for instance: (direct from the PUBLISHED SITE)*
    <input type="image" id="FormsButton8" name="FormsButton8" src="file:///C:/.../Preview/Autogen/next.gif" ...>

    * ... text removed for clarity

    If I change the image type back to "button", the page remains in the error state. If I rename the page, it publishes correctly, but when I rename back to the original name, the error returns.
    I can recover only by re-optimizing the site.

    Hello to all the NOF developers out there.

    I am wondering if you have received this bug report, and if it is going to be addressed in the near future.

    Is this the proper venue to report bugs such as this, or is there a more direct line?

    regards,
    Dar7yl.

    People in these groups are users just like yourself. We all try and help one
    another with things. Your best line to report a bug is through the NOF
    website.

    Thanks for your support, Ian.
    The question remains: Is there active development for NOF (12)? Can we expect this and many other egregious defects to be corrected in the near future? Does NOF have any developers working for them? (btw, I am available, C++, C#, PHP,...) .
