    Default Need buy decision help...

Reading the forum before purchasing was a good idea but I still think I can use NOF12 for what I want to do.

Let me say I've used Essentials before so I think I've cut my teeth on the Learning Curve part.

I have NO legacy websites in previous versions of NOF I want to use. I have no previous versions of NOF installed, etc.

All I want to do is build a prototype (like a living wireframe) of a site I'm working on. I want to connect to my MySQL database and allow people to create accounts and store information in the database so I would be relying heavily on NOF to handle that. I have Dreamweaver but dreamweaver takes a very long time to develop sql (mostly because of the bugs). I have a code generator that will develop a site from a database structure but it looks very much like a generated site. I like the NOF make the table on the page thingy and I think I could make the site look a lot better. This does not have to be graphic rich, it can be sparse like google. This is after all a demo site that I will port the data to the finished site a few months from now.

So am I going to be cursing tackling creating a PHP/MySQL site with NOF? Or am I going to be reasonable productive enough that I could build a working proof of concept?

Thanks in advance for any help or advice,

    Clay

You can do all of your PHP coding in modular then call the modules into fusion using a php include statement. You should be doing modular programing for all of your dynamic coding

Does that mean you don't recommend the PHP/MySQL tools in NOF12?
