Default NOF 13 MAY be just around the corner

NOF 13 MAY be just around the corner...

Likely it is not, however, given that NOF 12 is STILL rife with
small-but-vital-to-many problems, it's a cold day in Hades before NOF 12
users should be tricked or urged to update to any introduced NOF 13.

If NOF 12 can not be "solved", there's no reason to work on, expend
programming time for the NOF programmers, and nothing worth users
suddenly being smacked in the wallet with NOF 13.

Also just around the corner, maybe, is a post from Joe Rotello that is useful. But I won't hold my breath and I certainly wouldn't pay money for it.

Joe, I'm still wondering why you hang out here when you plainly don't use NoF and never offer helpto anyone.

    Seriously?

Are we now into purely speculative griping about non-existent products?

    Really?

Why the attempt at character assassination ?

I, as have many others, assisted both NOF and users for many years and
in many arenas including but not at all limited to this particular
    netobjects.fusion12.gen-discussion Forum

FWIW, I have learned a great deal from others, and I am advised have
    assisted many others.

Being a wide-open-eyes realist and very long-time NOF user and tester
    must scare people ?

Just my humble opinion, but I think NOF is at the end of the line, and its owners are merely trying to squeeze the last few pounds/dollars out of the existing product with amazing half-price offers etc.
If there is still life at NetObjects, it's currently harder to detect than life on a planet in a far off solar system.

I for one would be more than happy to upgrade to a 'proper' NEW version, as previous versions have served me very well, but for the moment I'll stick with 11 - nothing magical appeared in 12 to persuade me to part with more money, and the lack of any apparent activity from NetObjects doesn't give much confidence in the long term future of the product.
