Question How to make text box part of layout so I dont have to duplicate?

Hi, I have a 25+ page website and I am not using a left border, but in the middle part but near the left side, of every page, I want to put a text box that I only have to create once and it changes it on everypage ... I want to make it part of the layout I guess but I dont know how to do that ... I know I can add a left or right bar to put it, but I dont want it there.. How do I make a text box part of the background layout is what I am asking I guess.
Actually, to see what I am talking about exactly, the site is SitUpFront(dot)com and if you notice on every page of the site, on the left side below the large picture, is a small 'navi' area (its really just a text box that I made my own links in). But its on evey page as itself and if I make a change to 1, then I have to copy & paste to all pages of the site! ... How can I make that text box (I know, it looks like a navi box) part of the layout so I only have to make the change on one page????
    Thanks!!

The best way to accomplish what you want to do (without redesigning the site) would be to create a separate document to hold your "featured" content. Then on the pages where you wish it to display this content, insert a dynamic include statement to call the single file into each page. When you want to change the featured content you would edit the separate document and each page would call the changed document when it was drawn then next time.

This URL will go over how to insert external code: https://www.gotfusion.com/tutorials/...emID=4068#body

As an alternative you could use a 3rd party cms system and call in the single page using their coding as outlined in this URL: https://www.gotfusion.com/tutorials/tut.cfm?itemID=4076
