Default Remove navbar "Buttonset" underline of links? +my thoughts on NOF

Ive just made an update to an older site, using nof11 and I now find that its underlining the dropdown links Ive added, before now there were no dropdowns.
I tried adding text-decoration:none; to the css for the navbar, but that had no effect.
Why are these now getting underlined? Ive never had this problem before, looks quite ugly.

Plus, I always enjoy reading what others have to say about NOF etc so---
Lately Ive been moving over to Wordpress for all my new jobs. Im finding I can build a better website quicker. There are so many templates available, and Ive learnt a lot from changing the layout of php and css with shopping carts Ive worked on so Im fairly comfortable with WP now.
I think NOF has had its day and now the tech just feels very "left behind".
Some of the WP templates Ive worked with have some amazing features and theres no need for anything like Npower (eeew I hate that thing) CMS is what WP is all about.

    Chargin,
I'm sure there is a setting in the Styles View to check/uncheck underline links.
Also I don't think it is right you post on a Netobjects Forum advertising Wordpress. Every software package has it's pros & cons. If you like Wordpress by all means go and use it. If you need help with NOF - ask real questions.

Thanks for your reply, this isnt just for links, this is for a text navbar. Theres nothing that I can see in the styles.

I find the second part of your reply quite ridiculous though.
    Advertising HA
Wordpress is a free system, who am I "advertising" for??
You may be new to the community, Ive been contributing and discussing NOF and its use in the business of building websites for years. Mainly using the newsgroups. Weve had MANY discussions of this flavour, saying what tools weve tried and preferred, where NOF stands and how we felt about its latest product. Then you come along and spout your nonsense, thanks for contributing... If you had a real answer to my question that would have been much appreciated.

Ever tried Help? Or the manual? It's right in front of you, waiting for
underline to be changed/not used, text colors, the whole thing. One thing
you should do before asking for help on a newsgroup is try to help yourself
first with your own research, and then mention same along with results or
    not.

I agree that in this case Wordpress is probbly off-topic as presented.
Unfortunately I'm not going to re-assemble the whole thread to see what some
bung-hole has deleted, namely the inital problem. If people don't know how
to trim, they need to learn; it's not exactly rocket science.

That probably works against you because you're trying to blame a another for
not having the background you do which of course is silly to expect. The
fact that you say you've been building web sites for "years" is pretty much
meaningless and says nothing about your actual prowess with NOF of any
version. So has just about everyone else here now a days and thus it speaks
nothing about your abilities or success in many areas, including securty,
    data protection etc. etc..

    Mainly using the newsgroups.

That's very true. Going off topic and ignoring the original request/question
displays nothing but arrogance, probable ignorance, and a lack of
wiillingness to actually help others. Had some bung-hole not trimmed out the
original question/query, then proper, better answers might be forthcoming
    for you.
Whether it was you originated the posts and trimmed off the query or
someone else, this thread has gone to nowhere and you've assisted that
transition greatly with your attitude. So if you still haven't gotten your
answer, it's not likely to come. Put on a thicker skin as required on
newsgroups and try again instead of whining about it.

You're not the only offender that needs to think about these things by any
means, but it does make reading the newsgroups a lot faster.

Twayne none of what you wrote makes much sense. One thing, I dont think anyone has edited their posts so maybe go back under that rock huh.
