I upgraded to NOF 12 after several years of using NOF 8.
I had to tweak every page, of course, and I republished the whole site.
Then I added a brand-new page never before seen by NOF 8.
Question: Why does View Source, used in IE and FF, show that NOF 8 generated the site? Shouldn't it say NOF 12?
This is more than a petty annoyance, I think, unless somewhere it is clear which version last touched the page. With the notion that NOF 8 made the pages, wouldn't it be difficult for someone to troubleshoot? And what about the advertising benefit that is lost? Potential users might look for and be unable to get NOF 8, or learn that NOF 8 is very old, without knowing that NOF 12 made the page they are looking at.
