Cool Adding an icon to my url line

Basically, called a favicon and it will be an icon (like a logo) that gets placed at the address line and on your favorites. It requires one to upload it to the root directory. How does one do that with N.O.F. 10? Probably a simple answer but I don't understand it.
    thank you.

Just add the favicon.ico graphic as a file asset and Fusion will take care of it for you

I saw this thread and thought I would add a favicon to my site. I followed
the instructions in the tutorial and added it as a new file in Assets when I
publish the site it finishes up in Assets instead of the root of the site.
I am sure I am missing something simple. How do I get it to publish to the
root? I have got it working by using Filezilla to put it in the root but I
would like to get it right in NOF10. URL if you wish to view is

Sometimes Fusion will get confused. You may notice that your CSS files are in the html folder or some other location. Since Fusion creates its own internal links this is usually not an issue. With a favicon.ico it is an issue unless you put in a meta tag that points the the wrong location of the file.

The fusion folder confusion can sometimes be cleared up using the export/import method. Sometimes you have to reset the publish method to flat, close and reopen Fusion, then set the publish method back to your preference. Give these "fixes" a shot and see if your favicon.ico file goes back into root.

When you manually add an image asset, Fusion puts it in the root by default when you publish.

Look in Publish view and see where favicon.ico is. If it's not in the root, move it there.

In Assets View, mark it to always publish.
