    Default Center page in browser, jumping left right.

    How to get stabil center in browser possible?

    I have read many posting about this, but not similar.

    I've used NetObjects Fusion 12 with update #1

    If I put in layout center ticket, pages will be centered, but every page jump slightly left or right.
    I does not seem nice at all.

    If i put in master page in html code as follows
    <div align="center">
    </div>
    same unwanted jumpering page effect

    I don't have frames at page
    Site generation: html 4,01 with tables
    style "welcome-sun" modified (same problem with unmodified styles...)
    Every page have same master page and same width
    no overlaying objects

    Please help me
    All ideas are welcome
    (sorry my english, it is not my own language)

    The jump may be caused by a vertical scroll bar on some pages but not all pages.

    Check the page(s) that jump and see if it has a vertical scroll bar or not.

    You can force a vertical scroll bar on all pages using CSS.

    Go to style view.
    Click on the CSS Code tab
    Add the following to the bottom of the style sheet

    Code:
    html {overflow-y:scroll;}
    This will force a vertical scroll bar on every page.

    EDIT: You should make a dup style, set it to your project then modify the dup NOT the stock style. See this gotFusion tutorial for details: http://www.gotfusion.com/tutorials/tut.cfm?itemID=117

    Many thanks, this works! You are big guru!
    All pages are now centered beatifully, but ofcourse one page is still out of order.
    This page has "Multi layout region" object.
    Any ideas to fix this also.

    btw. What is "best" way to center pages; using master page or layout properties?

    Can you post a link to the problem page (the one that does not work like the others) ?

    If you want to center all pages use the masterborder properties html insert and use the div tag as outlined in this tutorial: http://www.gotfusion.com/tutorials/tut.cfm?itemID=4044
