Default Text rendering in different browsers

Why do different browsers render Text generated by NetObjects (11) in a
    different way?

The example shows Firefox 3 (left) and Chrome. IE looks like Chrome.

    Any solutions?

    Peter

PS. Wanted to register for the Web forum but got this reply:
"Registration denied, this forum runs an active policy of not allowing
spammers. Please contact us via the "Contact Us" page link if you
    believe this is in error".
    Tried with two different e-mail-adresses.

No idea from an image, but if you give us the URL someone may be able to
    spot something.

As for the forum, I would contact them as suggested.

    e.g.
    http://www.eisenburger.de/Reisen/fra..._honfleur.html

can be seen for instance at the very bottom. in Firefox the height of
the text is one line longer.

    Hallo Peter,

one of the tricks is set the first table cell to px and the following ones on "automatic". Sometimes browsers interpret things differently, like when header-Tags are involved.

Anyway, have a look at his tutorial, it might help you:

no, Twayne. I prefer remaining here at Usenet.

BTW the only forum from quite a lot I attend that counts me as "spammer".

    found out what to do

if I fix the line height manually, all browsers will display the same
    heigth of my text boxes.

wanted to increase line height anyway for better readability

Hi Peter, in RE to the forum registration the spam filters can sometimes be a little on the stringent side. Common usernames like Peter are often flagged. I've manually created you a forum account and emailed you a password.
