Default turning a JPG into a template

I want to make a template out of a Jpg. I do not need any master boarders. it will contain 3 hot spots,
an area to add a picture and two places to add text.

sounds so simple but for the life of me i can not get it to work.

Are you saying that you want the background of a page to be a jpg? If so, just make sure the jpg is the size you need and place a layout area on the page, and in the properties of the layout, set the background picture. Then, in the layout, you can add anything you want. Or, you could go into site style and set the background with your jpg.

If that is what you are trying to do???

Are you trying to add text to the picture or just in the layout?

If you are trying to center the page, you will want the layout (assuming no master borders) the size of the page and make sure you check "center in browser".

For text on a picture your best bet is to do that in a graphic editor but you can use the picture property palet and I think it is the 5 tab you can add text to the picture.
