Default robots.txt being written over in root

Can anyone please tell me what is happening:
I am trying to block web crawlers from certain directories.
I create the text file and FTP it to the root, however the following day it is written over with the below

    Sitemap: http://www.bacabecopark.com/sitemap.xml

I have confirmed many times that the correct file is in the root only to find that it has been written over.

Can someone please suggest what might be happening
    Thanks

Looks like you will have to disable the sitemap feature as Fusion wants to create its own robots.txt file to point bots to the site map.

From the menu select tools > options > current site >

Click on the site traffic tab, uncheck the box that says publish a site map for search engines

You will have to upload your original robots.txt file but fusion will not over write it again after you make this change
