Default NetObjects Fusion XII Update #2

    Hello,

In an abundance of caution, we have temporarily pulled AU2 as we investigate an issue some users are experiencing with the Online view on installation.

    Thanks for your patience.

Thanks for posting that, Adam. I'm downloading it now.

Is anyone else having a problem with update #2? This is the first time I have had a problem with an update install.

    wtpooh55,

What operating system are you running?

What version of Internet Explorer is installed (e.g. 8, 9)?

Sorry about that Steve, guess that would help.

Windows XP Pro, Version 2002, Service Pack 3. Internet Explorer 8.0.6001.18702.

Like I said Steve, I've never had a problem with an install for as long as I can remember, way before MX. And this install went through completely without a hiccup. Just have to click through the script errors 5 or 6 times before opening and then the front page of NOF is blank.

    Thanks for your help,

    David B.

Try uninstalling Fusion, reboot, install the retail release, then install update #2 (without update #1)

See if this clears up your error/issue

    Mike,

That was going to be my next step. So update #2 will include the changes in update #1? I don't kknow why I was thinking that with NOF they didn't. It's been a long week already...so I am not really sure what I am thinking.

    I'll give it a shot!

    Thanks

    Well,

Uninstalling and reinstalling and omitting update #1 seemed to work. I would really hope that if there are future updates, I won't have to go through this. But....gotta do what you gotta do...right?

    :-)

Uh... this is all very good.

But where are the repairs and fixes for the few remaining major problems
    seen in NOF 12?

The list of fixes seems all eye-candy without substance.

Unless we might not be seeing ALL of the improvements.

Yes, I see the same script error, and "half" of NOF 12 Updated #2 fails
    to launch properly.

Am checking the state and status of the installed JVM and re-starting
the system, seeing if this apparently major error still remains.
