Default Duplicate contents of web page onto the newly created page

Does anyone know how to duplicate the contents on one page and paste it into a newly created page
When I add a page the page itself is blank, I want to duplicate the conetents of the existing page to the new page.
    Thanks

Yeah, thanks, easy one there, tried that, does not copy all contents and messes up the page when pasted, also there are two different layout regions. It came from the standard template collection in version 12 "Essence Blue Grey" is the template name

Try it from Site View. Select the page... hit Control-C... and then hit Control-V. Makes a new page with duplicate contents.
