    Default Migrating to new OS

I'm in the midst of migrating my system from Vista to Win7. I'm currently dual-booting while I make the transition.

My question pertains to my NOF Project files. Can I simply install NOF11 & 12 on under my new OS and simply open my project files from the other drive? Or copy my User Sites folder whole-hog over to my new Win7 Documents folder? Or would it be best to do the Template Dance?

    I think I know the answer, but I'm hoping I don't.

If you know the answer, why do you ask, Ray......

To be on the safe side, create some templates.
And by the way, you do that anyway regularly, or don't you.....??!!

    Hi ray,

First Mia is correct, you should always export your sites to a template, it is the only reliable method to backup fully.

Second, about 6 months ago I jumped from XP to Win7 Ultimate. Installed 11 & 12 no problems. Exported all my sites to templates then created new sites from templates on Win7 machine, all OK.

So go on, be a man and Do The Template Dance. :-)
