Default "Picture Rollover" button with AltTag

I would like to be able to use picture rollover to design a button area, but this does not give me an option to list a AltTag area, so that I can place a description about this button when you hover over the button. Any ideas on how to do this?

it is impossible to do that due to a bug that has been there forever

    1. there is a missing alt tag field in the property palette
    2. you can right click and choose rollover html, inside tag and type alt="test" but when you publish, this insertion is deleted and nowhere to be seen in the source, it never shows, it is a bug

This is a long-standing bug in late versions of NOF, including 12/XII

Yet Another Reason for an Update #4 being needed, as all previous
Updates have left too many un-fixed bugs and oversights

Not a massive number of remaining, but enough to make using NOF 12
frustrating at sopme of the worst possible times.

Hi there! It's been a couple of years since this topic was last contributed to - I am just wondering if there is a way or a hack to add alt text to a rollover image yet, that anyone knows of?

I totally refuse to edit the HTML after publish because the site gets updated a lot and there are quite a number of pages that need alt text on rollovers.. It would eat up too much of my time and I'll go completely insane.

You can assign ALT text to the rollover image using the Grid Inspector.

    There's a Grid Inspector in NoF 12?

Yes, it's been there since NOF 11.
