This isn't a NOF12 problem necessarily but that's the program I'm currently using and this forum has been so helpful to me in the past I thought I'd post my problem here.

For several years I've had RSS feed on my website alerting readers of when new content comes online. It hasn't been working for nearly a year so I thought I'd try to "fix it" but now I'm in the thick of RSS Hell.

When I upload my xml file to my server and then try to validate it (http://www.talk-about-twins.com/feed.xml) through feedvalidator.org, this message appears:

"It looks like this is a web page, not a feed. I looked for a feed associated with this page, but couldn't find one. Please enter the address of your feed to validate."

I also tried to add an autodiscovery link in the header section of my homepage which "turns on" the orange feed light on my website indicating there is a feed but when I click on the feed button, it says,

"This feed contains a DTD (Document Type Definition). DTDs are used to define a structure of a webpage. Internet Explorer does not support DTDs in feeds."

What am I doing wrong? I've tried several different RSS versions but here's my latest, which was validated manually as a correct feed.

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated! Sadly, I'm not very tech savvy so if you could please talk to me SLOWLY.....And thanks. --Christina
