"Parameter is incorrect" error message

Using 9.1 version with the upgrades. When I try to change values in either forms or text boxes, the box goes blank, "parameter is incorrect" error displays. If I hit okay and then outside the box, my text or form comes back. Ultimately this makes it very difficult to make any changes to these boxes. Any ideas as to what needs to be done to get rid of this error? Thanks so much.

I have seen things like that when Internet Explorer was not the default browser

can you describe more exactly or give an example of what you type and where you type it

Internet Explorer is the default. All you have to do is click anywhere into any form box or text box and the error message pops up.

1. go to asset view, then from the asset menu choose delete unused assets, then go back to page view and see if you still get the error

2. if yes, go to site view and choose tools, re-optimize, then go back to page view and see if you still get the error

3. if yes, uninstall NOF, then reinstall and apply update5
