Default NOF crashes when trying to rearrange tool bars

    Hello,

NOF now crashes when ever I try to rearrange the tool bars. It was fine at one time then I missed the landing position of one of the toolbars and it crashed NOF.

Now, when ever I try to rearrange the tools bars and just hold down left mouse button on a tool bar handle to move it, NOF freezes and I have to kill the process.

Any clues how to fix this?

    Thanks

On my system I know for certain that the only changes are a:Windows updates and b: AVG antivirus updates, as nothing else has been added or removed in more than two years. (My work computer - nobody messes with it! )
I noticed 2 or 3 months ago that if I accidently mouse-click anywhere on the toolbar that doesn't have a button, NOF freezes completely. So IMHO probably not directly a NOF fault

I know that doesn't help you much, but at least you know you're not alone!

Jut FYI I have exactly the same problem with NOF11. I am only using it to
update old sites now having started building with Wordpress, so I just to
leave the toolbars where they are, but it would be great if someone could
    post a fix here.

    Thanks

Sadly, there are some days that it's worse than others, simply because I misclick and hit the toolbar instead of an actual control.

I'm sure this is a NOF 11 problem. I'd gladly upgrade to 12 if this issue were have been fixed by them, but I can't afford to throw money out the window if this problem still exists in Nof 12 as having to redo work that I've already done becuase of a misclkck on the interface is insanity.

    City Builder,
I had unstable menus once. At the time I went and reset my Workspace to the default. This is done from the View menu>Workspace. I think the program gets upset when you modify position of Toolbars etc as it keeps a setting under Workspaces to keep track.
After that incident I positioned everything where I wanted then Saved the Workspace with my name and date. So whenever things go pear shaped I reset my workspace and it seems to do the trick.
    I hope this helps???

This has been bugging me for MONTHS... I finally (accidentally) stumbled upon the solution:

    1) Open NOF (any existing site, or create a new temporary .nod file)
    2) Open another instance of NOF (any existing site, or a new temporary .nod file)
    3) In the 2nd instance... rearrange the toolbars as needed.
    4) In the 2nd instance... click "VIEW" > "WORKSPACE" > "SAVE WORKSPACE AS..." (and save using a new filename)
    5) Exit from the 1st instance of NOF (at this point, do nothing to the toolbars... just exit)
    6) Exit from the 2nd instance of NOF (again... just exit)
    7) Open NOF as normal, and you should be able to edit, move, rearrange, and close toolbars as needed... as normal.

This worked for me using NOF 10.0 ... I haven't tested it on any other versions.

    Good Luck!

Just checked with NOF 11. It works. Solved a long standing annoyance.
    Thank you.
