CMS Surreal placement options?

Hi all, I'm looking for an alternative to Surreal CMS. As of May 2012, they will began charging members for all CMS services. I'm still debating if I want to take that route or just make a CMS page from scratch. Are there any other alternatives out there that are close to Surreal etc.?

For an online service, there is Cushy CMS. Very similar, as far as I know.

I'm partial to Snippet Master, which is a script you install on your hosting server.

Hi, Cory here from Surreal. I just wanted to mention that, while we did remove the free plan, we actually reduced the price of our lowest tiers to make it more affordable. We also created a very generous discount for non-profits as well.

It was a tough decision, and I explained why we shifted our business model in a very detailed email. I'll be happy to send it out to anyone that didn't receive it and answer any questions you might have about why this decision was made.
