Default Transfering website to new computer

My older laptop uses Vista and I use Fusion 9. I have a new laptop that uses Microsoft 7 and I loaded Fusion 9 on it. I put my website on a thumbdrive and tried to open it on the new computer and it give me an error message that reads "The file was created using a later version on NetObject Fusion and cannot be opened. Please upgrade to the latest version of NetObject Fusion."

The older laptop had an older version of Fusion, but was upgraded with version 9 several years ago. What can be the problem?

The older version for step #2 is gone. It wants you to export it as a template in the older version. I only have version 9 on each computer. The website is working fine on the older computer in version 9, however when I save the site and try to open it on the new computer, it gives me the error message.

I tried saving it as a template in the newer version, but it tells me it is unable to do that.
